THIEVES broke into an Old Town home last night before making off with the occupants’ vehicle.
Police forensics officers were on the scene earlier today following the incident, which took place in the early hours of the morning.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: “Officers were called to an address in Union Street, Swindon, to a report of a burglary at 4.45am this morning.
“An offender or offenders had gained entry and stolen a number of items, including a set of car keys.
“They had then stolen a vehicle parked at the front of the property.
“Officers have attended and forensics are being carried out at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.”
