BRISTOL Rovers have brought in two new faces ahead of today’s trip to the County Ground.

Swansea City defender Connor Roberts joined the club on a six-month loan deal.

The 20-year-old Wales Under-21 full-back made 45 starts on loan at Yeovil Town in League Two last season, but is yet to play a senior Swans game.

Earlier in the week, Rovers boss Darrell Clarke brought in Derby County goalkeeper Kelle Roos on a season-long loan deal.

The 24-year-old former Netherlands Under-15 keeper has made five senior appearances for the Championship club.

  •  PORT Vale have signed teenage defender Sam Hart on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old left-back becomes the 15th signing to join Vale since the arrival of Bruno Ribeiro as manager of the League One club on June 20.

He was a regular member of the Liverpool Under-21 side last season.

  •  WALSALL have signed young defender Kevin Toner from neighbours Aston Villa on a five-month loan until January.

The 20-year old Irishman, who can help cover the absence of left-back Rico Henry, is Saddlers boss Jon Whitney’s 14th signing of the summer.

This is Toner’s second loan move from Villa Park, having played six times for Kidderminster Harriers last season.

He played in Ireland for Ashbourne United and Home Farm before joining Villa in 2012.

  •  OXFORD United have signed Everton midfielder Ryan Ledson on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Ledson, 19, made one senior appearance for the Toffees in the Europa League against FK Krasnodar in 2014 and has been capped by England Under-19s.

He spent the second half of last season on loan at Cambridge United.

  •  CHARLTON  have sold left-back Tariq Holmes-Dennis to Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee.

Holmes-Dennis, 20, made 14 appearances for the Addicks after coming through the League One side’s academy system and has signed a three-year deal, with a club option for a further year for the Championship side.

He played in 10 league games on loan at Oldham last term, and has also had loan spells with Oxford and Plymouth.

  •  MILLWALL have signed Calum Butcher from Burton Albion.

The 25-year-old midfielder has agreed a two-year contract and moves on after just a year with Burton, who signed him from Dundee United.
