A SWINDON man facing a manslaughter charge pleaded not guilty at a hearing in Bristol Crown Court today.
In May, Kevin Lewis Adams, 52, of Exmouth Street, was charged with killing Kim Dohoon between June 11 and June 14 of last year, when he appeared before Swindon magistrates.
Police were called at around 2.30am on June 13 last year by the ambulance service following the death of Mr Dohoon, 36, of Slough.
Adams, who wore a dark grey suit, denied involvement in the killing and will now face trial early next year.
He pleaded guilty to three separate drugs charges dating from June 13 of last year of being in possession of class A drug methylamphetamine, class B drug mephedrone and 25ml of gamme-butyrlactone, which is a class C substance.
Judge Neil Ford QC will preside over the case and ordered a further pre-trial hearing on October 5.
The prosecution will be led by Adam Feest with Daren Samat set to defend Adams.
A trial date has been set for February 13 and is expected to last approximately five days.
Adams remains on unconditional bail.
