A Chippenham man, who was convicted of supplying a friend with a fatal dose of MDMA three years ago, has been fined £450 for being in possession of cocaine.

Tristan Wilcox, 38, of Palmers Street appeared before the bench at North Wiltshire Magistrates Court on Thursday, September 15, where he pleaded guilty to being in possession of a class A drug. 

The court was told how Wilcox, who was a passenger in a blue MG ZR stashed with cash and cocaine, was pulled over on Sheldon Road on August 26 after the driver swore at police.

Two years ago, Wilcox was give a four month jail term suspended for 18 months for supplying Robbie Day with ecstasy that resulted in his death in June 2013.

Magistrates ordered the 38-year-old to pay £450 in fines, a victim surcharge of £45, costs of £85 and the destruction of the cocaine.
