A couple who are accused of blackmail and witness intimidation are to face trial by judge and jury.
Joleen and Philip Phelps are said to have made demands with menaces from a man during the last week and a half of January this year.
And the pair, of Brinkworth Road, Royal Wootton Bassett, are also said to have sent text messages to the man and his wife during the same nine days.
Philip, 49, and Joleen, 39, each pleaded not guilty to blackmail and two counts of intimidation.
Judge Robert Pawson adjourned the case to Monday September 25 and released them on bail until then.
