THE lorry driver involved in an crash on Great Western Way earlier this month is still in a coma, police have confirmed.
The incident happened shortly after 4am heading into Swindon between the Blagrove and Mannington roundabouts on Wednesday, April 5.
It resulted in a UK Mail delivery truck’s cab being crushed up against the rear right hand corner of an Iceland delivery lorry’s trailer.
The cause of the crash is not yet known but police believe the Iceland lorry was stopped at the time.
More than three weeks later and police have confirmed that the Iceland lorry driver is still in a coma in a stable condition.
