SCARECROW fans will have plenty to think about when a village near Chippenham stages its 17th festival on June 17 and 18.
For this year's theme for Kington Langley's big event is myths and legends. But for those left scratching their heads as they tried to work out the name of each crow there will be anagram clues to help.
There will be a £100 prize for the most correct answers as well as a separate children's competition with a prize of a family visit to Chippenham Fire Station.
There will also be live music on both days as well as the chance for children to enjoy circus skills and fairground rides. On the Sunday donkey rides will also be available. The Crow Bar will be open as well as a tea tent and barbecue as well as the chance to build a scarecrow from scratch in a scrapheap challenge.
