A WOMAN was left shaken after a man indecently exposed himself to her in Highworth on Monday.
The woman in her 60s was walking along Sevenfields at 1.20pm when a man approached her and asked if she lived in the area.
When she replied and asked if she could help him, he said "No, not right now" and walked away.
A few minutes later, she turned into Knowlands, where the same man jumped out of some bushes and exposed himself.
She ran off, shaken but unhurt.
The man is described as white, 5ft 2ins tall with dark hair and bulging blue eyes.
He was of average build, was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms and top and spoke with a local accent.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
PC Rebecca Berni said: "This was obviously very distressing for the woman involved.
"We would like to hear from anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious in this area at this time of day."
If you can help with Wiltshire Police's enquiries, please contact PC Rebecca Berni on 101 or call anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
