MORE picturesque shots of the county bathed in summer sunshine have come flooding in to the judges of this year’s VisitWiltshire photographic competition.

The Westbury White Horse peering out from behind a hay bale and an aerial view of Bradford on Avon are among the entries from photographer Anetta Zalewska, along with the petrol station at Steeple Ashton.

The white horse also proved to be inspirational for Helen Chambers, who also submitted a photograph of the landmark, this time from further up the hill, and watched on by a sheep. A solitary tank at Imber and bluebells at west Wood were also among her entries to the competition.

Max Barnes looked sky-ward for his submissions this month, with cloud formations over a horse and a beautiful sunset among his entries, while Tim Matthews submitted photographs of the path between Castle Combe and Long Dean, Chippenham Golf Course and Allington.

To be in with a chance of winning, your photos should capture the essence of life in Wiltshire, its people and landscape, and tie in with any of VisitWiltshire's four ‘Timeless’ themes:

• Timeless Wonders: including Stonehenge, Avebury, Salisbury Cathedral, the Kennet & Avon Canal and Wiltshire’s White Horses

• Timeless Places: including market towns, villages and other attractions

• Timeless Pleasures: including shopping, food and drink, festivals and events, arts and entertainment

• Timeless Nature: including big skies, rolling hills, flora and fauna
