Adver Sport assess the performances of the Swindon Town players in today's 1-0 win at home to Wycombe Wanderers in League Two.

REICE CHARLES-COOK – 8

Nothing to do at all in the first half but made a couple of really good saves in the second to claim his first clean sheet for Town.

BEN PURKISS – 8

Solid on the right as Wycombe did not pose much threat at all down his flank and covered his colleagues well when needed to.

OLLY LANCASHIRE – 9

Excellent positioning and reading of the game in the second period allowed him to comfortably deal with Wycombe’s high balls.

MATT PRESTON – 8.5

Another gritty and gutsy performance in the heart of defence and put his body on the line whenever it was required.

MATT TAYLOR – 8

Sent some wonderful early balls into the Wanderers’ box, with one leading to Smith’s goal, and was strong defensively too.

AMINE LINGANZI – 8

Sat deep to try to cover the physical threat of Akinfenwa and won plenty of battles in the air.

JAMES DUNNE – 7

Robust in the middle of the pitch and got through his usual heavy workload.

DONAL MCDERMOTT – 6.5

Was not an occasion for Town attacking with vigour out wide but showed good intent before being replaced late on.

KESHI ANDERSON – 7.5

Was heavily involved in the first half and chased every ball, creating numerous chances for team-mates too.

JOHN GODDARD – 6.5

Seemed to be a little deeper in the pitch than we are used to but was neat and tidy whenever Town did try to play along the ground.

HARRY SMITH – 8

Took his goal brilliantly and was effective as Town utilised the high ball well. A very busy display on his return to the side. Booked.

Substitutes:

PAUL MULLIN – 6.5

(For McDermott, 85) Not on long but made one really good chance to get on the scoresheet.

Subs not used: Will Henry, Chris Robertson, Ellis Iandolo, Kellan Gordon, Kaiyne Woolery, Kyle Knoyle.
