THERE'S still time to donate toys to the Salvation Army's toy appeal this year.
Staff at Sainsbury's Chippenham have been stunned to receive hundreds of toys and books for the appeal, which will help provide presents to needy children and families in the Chippenham area over the festive season.
Donations should be new, but unwrapped, although donations of wrapping paper are also welcomed so that families can wrap the presents themselves.
Last year the Salvation Army put together around 90 food hampers and gave away toys to hundreds of children.
Anyone interested can also drop off their toys at Sainsbury's Chippenham, Wilkos, Clever Minds, Goodman Warren Beck and Wilko Devizes until Sunday.
