SINGING filled the streets of Devizes, Melksham and Chippenham on Saturday as 70 members of the PSG choir went on a whistle stop tour of the county.

Crowds gather at the Brittox and Borough Parade as they belted out tunes made famous by Jessie J and Bruno Mars alongside classic soul sounds and traditional gospel music.

The pop, soul and gospel choir has grown from its creation in 2014 to over 120 members from four different towns.

Choir master Will Blake said: “We chose Ocean Plastics charity after being inspired by Blue Planet like everyone else in the country.

“We will definitely do events like this in the future. We started in Devizes to a great reception before going to Chippenham and then the Derry Hill and Studley Fete which was probably the biggest crowd. We finished in The Bear in Melksham.

“We would love to welcome any new members to our choir.”

The group raised £513 for Plastic Oceans charity.
