SHREWTON United returned to the top of the Wiltshire Senior League Premier Division as they hit Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development for six and previous pole-sitters Wroughton drew with fellow unbeaten side Melksham Town Reserves.

Zac Mcnally, Dominic Jackson, veteran Jesse Walters, Ryan Jones, Tyren Harrington and Craig Lewis netted for Shrewton in their 6-2 success, Josh Bolton and Tyrhys Mifsud on target for Bassett.

Shane Hibbert's penalty gave Wroughton the lead against Melksham, who hit back through Jake Hutchings, with the sides now second and third respectively.

An eight-goal thriller between Corsham Town Reserves and Purton ended all square, Andrew Bilko and Gianluca Costabile, Nathan Marland and Will Backhouse on target for the latter, as Aaron Masson's brace, Mark Dolman and Adam Mitchell netted for the reserves.

Cricklade Town's improvement continued as they smashed Devizes Town reserves 6-0, Devan Bryan scoring five times and Elliott Corp adding the other.

Trowbridge Town have also started well and a 4-1 home success over Pewsey Vale Development continued that.

Joshua Hard netted a hat-trick for the Bees, with Daniel Sandford also finding the net. Sixteen-year-old William Garrett replied for Pewsey.

Marlborough Town and Ludgershall Sports could not find a way through as their clash finished goalless.
