THOUSANDS of car enthusiasts sped into Castle Combe on Saturday for the village's annual Japanese car festival.
Jap Fest, which celebrates Japanese performance motors, kicked off the show season in style.
Chippenham car fan Adam Robertson, 25, of Marshall Road, organised for 50 members of Japanese car fan club Honda Revolutions to drive to the circuit from across the UK.
Mr Robertson, who swapped his American Ford for a limited edition Honda Civic two years ago, said the group had a brilliant time.
He said: "We got about 20 minutes on the track and it was really good. It's the first chance we have had to drive around for a while."
As well as speeding across the circuit car enthusiasts got a chance to browse trade stalls, check out professional drivers drifting, a driving technique in which a car slides at an angle with its side moving in the direction of the turn.
Mr Robertson said the group were now looking forward to the next Japanese car festival in London.
