Wiltshire star Melinda Messenger has proved why she’s such an asset to lingerie firm Ultimo, with the release of her latest campaign for the brand’s D-G Cup range.

The 36-year-old, mum-of-three glams it up in the Ultimo’s latest designs created for curvier girls, which are available in store at Debenhams from today. Melinda Messenger said; “I never thought I’d model lingerie again before Ultimo approached me. In fact, I’d hung up my bra quite a few years ago.

"But being given the opportunity to represent one of the world’s biggest lingerie firms and all those curvy girls out there, I just couldn’t resist – and, I must confess, I’m loving every minute of it.

“The new D-G Cup range is so feminine and comfortable; every woman, no matter her size, should have a least one set of Ultimo lingerie in her underwear drawer.”

Michelle Mone, creator of Ultimo, said: “With the average bra size in the UK having recently increased from a 34C to a 36D, it’s so important to cater for the majority of women out there and provide beautiful, sensual lingerie in larger sizes – that also delivers the best possible support.” The new D-G Cup range is vintage-inspired, designed for larger-cupped ladies looking to vamp it up. The collection embraces all the beautiful detail of sexy, sensual and glamorous lingerie, with flirty polka dots, sexy ribbons and pretty lace detailing and is available from £12. Melinda added: “It’s so fantastic to be involved with a bra company that supports larger girls. I was so delighted to hear that Katie Green [ex-Wonderbra model] had been appointed – as it was appalling that she had been told she was “too fat” to model.

"Us girls have to stick together to make sure we’re sending out the right message and representing real women.”
