A new standard for the Bedwyn Royal British Legion was dedicated in St Mary’s Church on Sunday.
It replaces a standard which was at least 20 years old.
Bedwyn standard bearer Gary Crook, with others from Devizes, Calne and Stratton St Margaret, paraded the old standard on its last journey to St Mary’s.
The old standard was decommissioned at a service conducted by the Great Bedwyn vicar, the Rev Rodney Harrison, who is also a Royal British Legion chaplain.
General Mike Walsh, former Commander in Chief of British Troops, who lives in Great Bedwyn, was among those at the service.
