Pupils at St Margaret’s School, Calne, have raised £4,500 for a drop in centre run by the town’s Youth Trust.
Pupils at the private prep school raised the money through cake sales, a staff versus Year 6 netball match and a sponsored walk.
Staff and pupils choose a different charity to support each year, and particularly like local causes.
Former mayor Coun Mercy Baggs, who chose the trust and drop-in centre as her mayoral charities last year, said the money would go towards games and a new digital television.
