More than £1,000 worth of electronic items have been stolen from a house in Trowbridge.
Burglars broke into the semi-detached house in Lyneham Way during the early hours of Thursday and took the items while the owners were asleep upstairs.
A PlayStation 3 and X Box 360 games consoles were taken, along with games, an Apple iPod, a Samsung mobile phone and a number of personal bank and loyalty cards.
A black leather men’s wallet with a Chelsea FC logo on the outside and a Stanford Bridge inset was also taken.
The total value taken was about £1,200.
PC Kane Fulbrook-Smith, of Trowbridge police, said: “These kinds of offences are a violation of individuals’ personal privacy and property.”
