A group of representatives from a Korean welfare foundation visited County Hall in Trowbridge on Tuesday.
Four visitors were visiting Wiltshire Council as part of a Korean Visitors Programme, to see how rural communities in the UK, such as Wiltshire, organise social care for adults and children.
The group, whose colleague Dr Kim Dong Won is working on a Korean placement at Wiltshire Council, went on to visit Larkrise School, Trowbridge, which educates children with special needs.
The group had also previously visited London to find out how welfare issues are handled by urban council authorities.
