DIVISION Seven outfit The Globe provided the shock of the round in the Swindon Sunday League Knockout Cup as they dumped out Division One AFC Gas.

The surprise 4-2 result was secured following goals from Kelvin Spencer (2), Kevin Scott and Stuart Hemsley.

Holders Greyhound hit 14 past Roughmoor Rangers with Dave Slattery (3), Steve Robertson (3), Tony Joyce (2), Rory Sproule (2), Paul Hunt, Ryan Lovegrove, Terry Moore and Rick Saunders scoring.

Another thrashing was dished out by DBS who crushed Trak Employment 12-1. Finding the net were Jamie Williams (5), Danny Allen (2), Bryn Keech (2), Frazer Munro, Paul Hughes and John Ferry.

Danny Ballinger bagged a brace as Coleview saw off Dolphin 4-0 with Kevin Priest and Jason Heron completing the scoring.

Alex Harper (2) and Richie Carter were the heroes as JobsInSwindon beat McLean Heating 3-0, while Cats Solutions needed extra time to overcome Rodbourne Real 4-3. Finding the net were Carl Marsh (2), Chris Adams (1) and Ben Jarrett.

The Manor triumphed 4-2 against FS Swindon as Wayne Arnold, Anthony McCusker, Danny Sealy and Richie Martin scored for the victors. FS Mason’s scorers were R Mason and C Knowles.

Rodbourne thumped Regent 5-0 with Steve Cue (2), Mike Lenard, Aaron Valters and Darryl Kemble on the mark, while West Swindon Wanderers beat CK Scaffolds 5-3 as Chris Cummins (2), Lee Robins (2) and Scott James fired home.

An Ian Bailey effort and an own goal saw Wanborough beat Village Inn 2-1 with Chris Dixon scoring for the latter side.

Stratton Reform edged out Boundary House 3-1 with Keiran Cronin, Sam Eagle and Danny Hiscocks netting, and Old Nick battered Patheon 8-4 as Alan Hall, Dave Bott, Eddie Damarell and Mike Spotswood scored.

In Division One efforts from Craig Shand (4), Steve Avenall (3) and Delroy Fallon helped AFC Cricklade complete an 8-4 hammering of Blyskawica.

Penhill routed Coleshill 7-3 with Blaine Fitzgerald (2), Anton Nicholson (2), Arron Barton (2) and Rich Gee finding the net.

Craig Clark, Will Smith, James Winton, Peter Hambridge and Matt Boakes took the plaudits in Intermach’s 5-1 win over Campbell James in Division Three. Darryl Mason scored Campbell’s consolation.

Nythe went top of Division Seven after their narrow 2-1 win against Stratton Saints. Lee Hedges converted two penalties while Alan Palmer registered for Stratton.

AFC Piratez and Queensfield shared the spoils in a 3-3 draw, with Simon Harris smashing a hat-trick for Piratez and Liam Walsh, Joe Fitchett, Callum Badcock netting for Queensfield.

Elsewhere, Cartus and Goldfinger Tavern also drew 3-3. Michael Barsby blasted a hat-trick for Cartus.
