QUEENSFIELD continued to set the pace in the Swindon & District League Premier Division with a comprehensive 5-1 win at Pembroke.

A brace of goals apiece from Adam Jack and Warren Fox along with a thunderous volley from Tony Smith gave them their eighth win of the season. A Daniel Drewitt penalty in the second half gave the home side a consolation. Spectrum entertained Lower Stratton at Nalgo with the honours being shared in a 1-1 draw.

The game was end to end but produced just the two goals with the home side’s strike coming from Carl O’Regan.

The Fratellos goal machine took over 45 minutes to kick in against CitiFaith Ajax, with the score at 1-0 at half time thanks to John Goodenough.

The introduction of Danny Hyde at half time seemed to kick-start matters and he went on to bag a hat-trick. Ricky Flannagan bagged four, Aaron Webb a pair and a Phil Coulston a single to move Fratellos into second.

Ramsbur entertained fellow out-of-towners Chiseldon and the hosts took an early lead thanks to Max Derrick.

Jon Davis replied early in the second half, but a couple of lapses in concentration handed two goals to the home side, Jermey Martin and Andrew Bethwaite accepting the offers.

Chiseldon did have a few opportunities to get back in the game but did not capitalise.
