WARMINSTER Town are still searching for their first win in the Wessex League Division One since November after they slipped to their 13th defeat of the season at home to Ringwood Town last weekend.
The visitors, whose victory moved them up to seventh in the table, took the lead just before the half-hour mark when Jason Hardy crossed from the right-wing and Wayne Hole fired home through a crowd of defenders.
Martin Edwards had a goal ruled out for offside for the Hampshire side while Warminster’s Nick Bunyard headed over a powerful effort from Tom Yeats.
Ringwood made the game safe 11 minutes from time when Josh Brown picked up a through ball and rounded keeper Scott Lewis before making it 2-0.
Jason Guy’s men last tasted victory on November 11 with a 1-0 win over Whitchurch United, with James Vincent grabbing the decisive goal.
Warminster will face a tough test tomorrow as they look to end their eight-match winless run at second-placed Team Solent.
