The Royal United Hospital, Bath, is looking for people to become governors.
The hospital is becoming an NHS foundation trust and nominations for governors are required.
The council of governors will act as a link between the trust board and people in the local community.
Brian Stables, chairman of the RUH, said: “Being a governor is a hugely rewarding role and one in which you can really help make a difference to patient care.”
Deadline for nominations is September 18.
