MALMESBURY library ended its activity-filled summer on Friday with a magical session combining illusion and stories.
The 25 children at the event were entertained by local magician Jack Stephens.
Carolyn Kennedy, the community librarian for Malmesbury, said: “It was half an hour with balloons, drawing things out of hats and other tricks. The art of illusion is incredible.
“Jack Stephens gears his act towards libraries, and all the stories that he told involved magic tricks, which enthralled the children.”
Malmesbury library has hosted other activities over the summer, including writing workshops with local authors and Olympic themed arts and crafts activities. Mrs Kennedy hopes to put on another pyjama party in October half term.
