Transport police to hold drop-in surgery in Trowbridge

Rail passengers can discuss their concerns with British Transport Police officers at a drop-in surgery at Trowbridge Railway Station on Wednesday, September 26.
The officers, who patrol the lines and stations through Wiltshire and on to Bath and Bristol, will be at the station from 5-7pm to hear public policing priorities.
They will also be providing information and advice on avoiding becoming a victim of crime and the variety of work done by BTP.
PCSO Jon Gale said: “It is vital that local people who regularly use trains and stations are able to have their say on how they are policed.
“We want to listen to any ideas or concerns they may have, and then do something about them.
“I hope people can take the time to come and meet the team. Any issues which are raised are fed into our regular tasking meetings to discuss issues relating to safety and security at stations.”
