A team from Devizes- based charity Bag4Sport were waved off from outside The Bear Hotel on Saturday morning and three days later they cycled down the Champs Elysees to the Eiffel Tower.
The journey of nearly 200 miles has helped to raise around £3,000 for the charity, which supports grass root sport.
Charity director Andy Trusler was joined by Bag4Sport’s Luke Hopper and Stephen Taylor along with Dan Barfoot, Martin Reeder and Mr Trusler’s teenage son Harry.
Mr Trusler said: “It has been a great experience and hopefully we have raised lots of money to help Bag4Sport.”
Devizes medical device company OPED was the main sponsor of the ride and donations also came from the Bear Hotel, CMD Recruitment, Hayden’s Bakery and Devizes Insurance Brokers.
On Sunday former Gaz-ette deputy editor Joanne Moore, who is responsible for Bag4Sport’s public relations, took part in the Wiltshire Big Wheel event and raised about £300 by riding 45 miles around the Pewsey Vale.
