Bratton gardens go on show

Saturday and Sunday, 2-6pm.

A group of nine gardens in the Stradbrook area of Bratton will be open to the public, with a flower display in St James’ Church. A circular route has been devised so you can park in the village, The Butts, the church car park or Stradbrook.

Gardens in this part of Wiltshire are challenging, to say the least, and the participating venues are varied. Several local artists and craftsmen will be exhibiting their work and there will be articles for sale plus a plant stall. Teas will be served in The Pavilion. Entry on the day will be by programme, £5, but advance tickets, £4, can be obtained from Hillworth Stores or Maggie Atterbury on 01380 830452. The event is being held to raise much needed funds for the ancient church of St James and Macmillan Cancer Support.
