Swindon Recital Series is opening its new season with a concert of English music featuring Vaughan Williams’ ‘The Lark Ascending.
On Friday, September 21, at the Swindon Arts Centre in Old Town Miranda Dale will take up the challenge of playing one of the hardest pieces for violin. The Lark is frequently chosen by castaways on Desert Island Discs, including Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts. Miranda will be accompained by Paul Turner on piano, artistic director of the Recital Series. Tickets are £12.
