SOMERSET INTERMEDIATE CUP: Larks yet to take flight

THIRD division’s Civil Service Larkhall played host to Mid-Somerset League First Division outfit Glastonbury Town Reserves in the first round of this season’s Somerset Intermediate Cup.

The Larks, who last year reached the third round of the competition before losing out in extra time to Appletree FC, failed at the first hurdle this season after crashing out following a 4-1 defeat.

Trailing 2-0 at the break, the Larks conceded two more goals in the second half despite Derek Dunn replying for Jason Wilcox’s side they made an early exit from the competition.
