Fire crews were called in when a large drum of paint thinner splilled at Rotor Blades, in Centurion Way, Warminster.
The Environment Agency was also alerted when about 20 litres of the chemical leaked into the sewerage system, on Tuesday at 8.45am. Firefighters in breathing apparatus and chemical protection suits used sand to soak up the spillage and removed the drum. Staff were kept indoors and windows were shut.
