BRADFORD Town maintained their grip on the top of the Wiltshire League Premier Division with a convincing victory over SKS Blyskawica on Saturday.

Town emerged 7-2 winners from their trek to midtable Blyskawica to retain their two-point lead over chasing Chippenham Park at the division’s summit.

Chippenham, fresh off the back of a 2-1 defeat against Purton Reserves last time out, got back to winning ways with a 3-0 success against Wroughton to keep the heat on Bradford.

Wroughton stay bottom of the pile after their defeat.

Corsham Town Reserves bounded back in the best way possible following their Corsham Print Senior Knockout Cup exit at the hands of Wilts Calne Town last time out, emerging 2-1 victors from their trip to Marlborough Town.

Trowbridge and Calne remain sixth and fifth in the table respectively after they drew 2-2 at Woodmarsh.

Goals from Connor Dettmar and Declan King were not enough to see Beversbrook get anything from their home clash with RGV Shrewton, as the visitors won 5-2, while Purton followed up their defeat of Chippenham last time out with a comprehensive 4-2 win at Vale of Pewsey.

Elsewhere, Southbrook beat Ludgershall Sports 3-0.

In Division One, Madames remain top following their home walkover against Lower Stratton while there were wins for Wilton Town, and Marshfield.

AFC Wroughton and Chippenham Park Reserves shared the points after an astonishing 5-5 draw.
