The Royal United Hospital in Bath is looking for new governors.
The hospital is nearing becoming an NHS foundation trust. The council of governors will act as a link between the trust board and the community.
RUH chairman Brian Stables said: “The role involves talking and listening to members about issues and concerns, about what’s working well and what could be improved at the RUH and feeding those views into the work of the council.”
Anyone wishing to stand as a governor must become a member of the RUH. Deadline for nominations is September 18. Call (01225) 821299.
