THREE men who had been remanded in custody have had charges of assault against them dropped.
Sadeq Ali, Nathan Bristow and his brother Jason were all accused of actual bodily harm on Lee Sparks on July 14.
But prosecutors have offered no evidence against the trio and a judge returned formal not guilty verdicts sending them free from court.
Jason, 26, of The Bakers Arms, Upper Stratton, was released from custody earlier this month and had charges dropped a few days later.
Nathan, of Redcliffe Street, Rodbourne, and Ali, of Ruskin Avenue, Upper Stratton, both 27, were kept in longer and had their case listed for trial before the Crown pulled the plug.
Colin Meeke, prosecuting, said the case was dropped due to insufficient evidence.
