Dog-lympic do and disco in Worton

A two day event including a dog show and a disco will raise money to rescue and foster Newfoundland dogs.
Christine Bodman, of Worton, has organised the event at The Old Forge, High Street, in the village.
On Saturday there is a companion show with six pedigree and nine novelty classes. Entries are from 10am with judging at 11am and the entry fee is £2 per class.
In the evening there is a disco featuring music from the 1960s. There will be food and a bar. Entry is £2 by way of a raffle ticket.
On Sunday there is a ‘doggy Olympics’ for all breeds with medals to be won plus raffles and tombola.
Proceeds will go to the Southern Newfoundland Club for welfare.
