A popular nursery is
celebrating a major milestone after helping hundreds of young children to achieve their potential.
Redland Nursery, in Brook Street, Chippenham, has supported more than 500 children since 2004.
The latest achievement comes just weeks after the team received an outstanding rating from Ofsted inspectors who praised every aspect of the service.
Staff and families marked the occasion by cutting a specially-decorated cake and arranging a morning of art and craft activities for the children on Tuesday.
Redland Nursery is managed by Barnardo’s.
The charity’s children’s services manager Liz James said: “We only recently realised we had passed such a significant milestone and thought it would be nice to celebrate with a small party.
“Some people look at the name Barnardo’s on our sign and assume that we only work with disadvantaged families, but in fact we offer a warm welcome to everyone and support a lovely mix of children from different backgrounds.”
