LEO Tetterfio’s strike handed Ferndale Rodbourne a narrow 4-3 victory at Wootton Bassett Blue in the North Wilts Youth League Under 16 Division 1.

Ferndale raced into a 3-0 lead at the break, thanks to goals from Miles Frost, Thomas Whitham and Tetterfio before Bassett rallied in the second period.

Kallum Youngsman and a Lewis Brown penalty reduced arrears but Tetterfio popped up to grab his second, and effectively the match-winning effort as Brown scored late on for Bassett.

Elsewhere in the division, a hat-trick from Kieran O'Daly and a single from Aaron Sawyer saw Swindon Supermarine secure a 4-0 win over FC Calne.

UNDER 9 DIVISION 1

FOREST Green Rovers edged out Croft 1-0 in a closely fought encounter. Both keepers were kept busy but a last minute winner saw Rovers take all three points.

UNDER 9 DIVISION 2

FERNDALE picked up their first win of the season with a superb performance against previously unbeaten Liden .

Connor Trayner, Lewis Dodson, Ethan Collett, Josh Harrison, Zane Pinnock (2) and Josh Hall (2) all found the net in Ferndale’s 9-0 victory.

UNDER 10 DIVISION 1

GREENMEADOW put 11 goals past a spirited Chippenham side in the the pouring rain. Six different players got on the scoresheet for the visitors, with captain Rowan Doyle leading the way with five. Jamie White netted twice and Max Whitfield, Ellis Kerrigan Ritchie, Thomas Lane and Josh Sawford also registered.

UNDER 10 DIVISION 2

WANBOROUGH slipped to a 4-2 defeat to Ramsbury.

Ramsbury opened the scoring before Tom Moore equalised. The hosts went ahead again but Moore hit his second only for Ramsbury to score twice to win it.

UNDER 10 DIVISION 3

JORDAN Heaton and Lewis Paoletta scored to keep Stratton Juniors Black’s unbeaten run in the league going with a 2-0 victory over Swindon Supermarine.

Highworth Town Juniors T recorded a 2-0 away win at Fairford Town Youth with goals from Joshua Uzzell and Will Webster.

UNDER 10 DIVISION 4

HIGHWORTH Town Juniors J eventually pulled away to a 6-3 home win against FC Abbey Meads Youth after being pegged back three times.

James Whettam (2), Drew Ellis (2) and Owen Baker-Smith (2) got the goals for Highworth.

UNDER 11 DIVISION 1

HIGHWORTH captain Dylan Boulton grabbed four goals in his side’s 5-1 win over FC Chippenham. Jack Payne scored the other.

Swindon Supermarine beat Ferndale Rodbourne Pumas 7-1, the Pumas’ goal being scored by Jamie Harrison.

UNDER 11 DIVISION 2

SWINDON Youth kept their encouraging start to the season going with a 4-2 home win against Wotton Bassett.

In a good competitive match Ellis Wheeler, Charlie Trinder-Sage and Ferdi Van Der Heiden shared the goals for Swindon.

Chelsea Barbieri and Shannon King put in outstanding performances for Ferndale Rodbourne Rovers in their 5-1 win over Pewsey Vale. The two girls played a part in setting up the goals for Jack Smith (2), Calum Lansley, Colin Adams and Jamain Holgate.

UNDER 11 DIVISION 3

TWO goals apiece from Sam Mallorie-Williams and William Kendrick gave Highworth Town J a 4-1 half-time advantage over Highworth C.

In increasingly poor weather conditions both teams gave their all, with Josh Kostiuk securing the Highworth J’s 5-1 win with his second-half strike.

UNDER 11 DIVISION 4

NORTHERN Lights won 4-1 at Old Town Utd.

Tommy Cole scored the first for Northern Lights from the penalty spot in an even first half. Old Town equalised early after the break but Cole, Tyler Simmons and Connor Robb secured Lights all three points.

UNDER 12 DIVISION 1

SWINDON Rangers A put in a sensational performance to hit five past Wootton Bassett Blue.

Sean Wilkinson scored a first-half hat-trick against his old team, while Finley Merchant scored his second goal of the season as Rangers went in at half time four goals up.

Joe Tyson completed the scoring with a powerful free-kick in the second half.

Ferndale Rodbourne YCFC gave a determined performance against FC Chippenham but lost 11-1. Leon Summers capped a tireless display with Ferndale's only goal of the game.

UNDER 12 DIVISION 2

FERNDALE Rodbourne Youth’s excellent passing earned them a well-deserved point from a 3-3 draw against Wanborough Juniors. Ferndale's James White scored two, with Keiran Dodson adding a fantastic individual goal.

UNDER 12 DIVISION 3

CONNOR Carpenter was outstanding in goal for Ferndale Rodbourne Colts in their 5-3 win against Chiseldon . Lewis Gardner and Josh Haynes bagged two each, with Neo Heath also netting.

UNDER 13 DIVISION 2

WROUGHTON overcame a good Malmesbury team and awful conditions to win 5-3 with goals from Brandon Duddy, Sam Roberts, Sam Lewis, Riegan Cook and Tyler Fitchett.

Wootton Bassett Town Yellow beat a battling Pewsey Vale with six second half goals from Declan Cox, Jamie Byrom, Euan Burke, Joshua Curtis, Lewis Cholod and Tom Miller.

Oliver Mathews opened the scoring for Greenmeadow in their 5-2 victory over FC Calne. Lee Murphy and Charlie Britten made it three by half time, while Jack Trott and Mathews’ penalty completed the scoring for the home team.

UNDER 14 DIVISION 1

SWINDON Supermarine cruised to a 3-0 away win against newly-promoted Croft.

Kyle Parker, Louis O’Shea and Tom Holland got themselves on the scoresheet for Marine.

Brinkworth Cats sit at the top of the division following their 3-1 victory against Shrivenham & Watchfield. All the goals came in the second half from Martin Sinclair, a Ryan Collins penalty and, after the visitors netted a goal back, Ashley Phillips.

UNDER 14 DIVISION 3

HIGHWORTH Town Juniors T raced into a 4-1 half time lead at home to Sevenfields and went on to win 5-4 with goals from Dan Markey, Jack Stone, Olly Mulraney, Josh Clarke and George Willis.

UNDER 15 DIVISION 1

SWINDON Supermarine’s Daniel Harry gave his mother an extra birthday present by scoring the only goal of the match against AFC Newbury.
