TROWBRIDGE’S Graham Shadwell will represent England in the pairs and fours at the World Championships being held in Australia in November and December, writes DAVE EATON.
Shadwell, who plays his bowls out of the Spencer Moulton club at Bradford on Avon will play at lead in the pairs with Devon’s Jamie Chestney.
In the fours he will play at two with Berkshire’s Mark Bantock (lead) and Robert Newman with Cumbria’s Stuart Airey skipping.
Shadwell won a triples bronze medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games with Bantock and Newman and last October struck triples gold at the Atlantic Rim Championships in Paphos, Cyprus, playing with Somerset’s John Hick and Chestney.
