A celebration will be held at the Devizes White Horse on Roundway Hill on Saturday, to mark its 13th birthday.
People are being urged to climb to Bank Field where volunteers created the White Horse in September 1999 to hold a picnic to mark the White Horse’s special day.
The idea for the event, due to begin at 4pm, came from local resident Thelma Edwards who enjoyed the jubilee street party at Quakers Walk estate, where she lives, and the lantern parade at the White Horse in August.
Those attending are asked to meet at the Palmer Road play park on the Quakers Walk estate at 2.30pm and walk up the hill together.
