Debate on pay day loans shop for Trowbridge

An application from a pay day loans company to open a shop in Castle Place shopping centre in Trow-bridge has been called in for councillors to determine.

Trowbridge mayor and councillor John Knight decided to refer the application from Cheque Centres to the Western Area Planning Committee, after concerns were raised at the firm’s interest rates.

The company offers loans with an APR of up to 2,115 per cent.

The application is due to be discussed by the planning committee at the council offices in Bradley Road, Trowbridge, at 6pm on Wednesday.

These blood-suckers target the people least able to truly understand the absolutely appalling rates of interest which the law, unbelieveably, still allows them to charge.

I thought it would fit in well with all the charity shops, pawn shop and pound shops.
And they turn down £40m+ investment

Gos bless Trowbridge lol
