Jahmene Douglas through to X Factor live finals

FOR his fans it was a tense 24 hours but tonight it has been revealed Swindon's Jahmene Douglas has made it through to the X Factor finals.

The Swindon Talent 2010 winner won over his group's mentor, Nicole Scherzinger, with his rendition of Titanium.

Last night viewers were left wondering if the 21-year-old Asda worker had done enough after Nicole and guest judge Ne-Yo both commented on his nerves and how they could get the better of him.

But this evening, millions watched as she told the shy vocalist that he was worth the risk and she was putting him through.

Jahmene has already sent out a message to his 13,000 Facebook fans saying: "Thanks for all the support! Time for a change... I’m dedicating my life to music for you guys, hopefully I can exude enough love for you all. Peace and light!”

The live shows start on Saturday on ITV1.
