NORTH WILTS YOUTH LEAGUE: Ferndale edge nine-goal thriller

Ferndale Rodbourne came from behind three times against Abbey Meads to take all three points in a 5-4 thriller in the North Wilts Youth League Under 16 Division One.
Miles Frost scored twice, Leo Tetterfio also grabbed a brace and Bradley Keene completed Ferndale’s scoring.
Elsewhere in the division, Swindon Supermarine ran out 3-1 winners at Melksham United.
Supermarine opened the scoring after 20 minutes with a great finish from Antonio Gerrish.
Melksham replied early in the second half before Kieran O'Daly hit Marine’s second. Finn Wilkinson wrapped up all three points for the visitors late on.
UNDER 9 DIVISION 1
CROFT returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over previously unbeaten Pewsey Vale.
A goal from Reegan Messenger gave Croft a slender half-time advantage. Adam King added the second with the last kick of the game.
UNDER 9 DIVISION 2
TWO goals from Adam Pryor, one from Tyler Hughes and an outstanding goalkeeping performance from Connor Horgan ensured that Liden got all three points from their 3-2 win at Ramsbury Blue.
Ferndale Rodbourne defeated Croft Juniors 3-0, with Josh Hall scoring two and Ollie Pickett the other.
UNDER 10 DIVISION 1
GREENMEADOW continued their unbeaten run with a 5-3 win against Liden.
Greenmeadow dominated the first half but Liden came back into the game in the second, scoring goals through Dean Haddrell and Tom Ponting.
The Greenmeadow goals were shared between Rowan Doyle and Ben Cardus.
UNDER 10 DIVISION 2
WANBOROUGH beat Shaw 3-0 thanks to goals from Jacob Chilcott, Will Sumner and Joel Trojan.
UNDER 10 DIVISION 3
HIGHWORTH Town Juniors T remain unbeaten following their 2-1 home win against Stratton Juniors Orange Will Webster and Thomas Harris got their names on the scoresheet for Highworth, sandwiching Lewis Aitken’s effort for the visitors.
UNDER 10 DIVISION 4
HIGHWORTH Town Juniors J continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 4-2 away win at Chiseldon.
Drew Ellis and James Whettam got two goals each to secure the win for Highworth.
UNDER 11 DIVISION 1
BRANDON Lewis scored a dramatic late winner for Ferndale Rodbourne Pumas to give them their first win of the season, 2-1 over Croft Juniors Red.
Pumas took a first-half lead through a fine strike by Harrison Jordon and, though Croft hit back early in the second half, Lewis calmly slotted home the decisive strike late on.
Highworth Town Juniors H kept up their good start to the season in windy conditions with a 7-0 win against Wootton Bassett. Jack Payne (3), Ethan Parker, Harvey Flippance and Dylan Boulton (2) all registered.
UNDER 11 DIVISION 2
FERNDALE Rodbourne Rovers lost 1-0 to Shaw Eagles.
Shaw dominated the first half but Rovers came back stronger in the second and were unlucky not to take a point.
Swindon Youth went down 5-3 at Calne. The Swindon Youth goalscorers were Tom Pugh (2) and Tyler Oates.
UNDER 11 DIVISION 3
TEN goals shared by William Kendrick (4), Josh Kostiuk (3) and Sam Mallorie-Williams (3) gave Highworth Town Juniors J a 10-0 victory over Ashton Keynes.
Highworth Town C secured their first win of the season against Chippenham. Goals from James Archer, Archie Bowman and Kyran Prismall helped Highworth to a 4-2 success on the road.
UNDER 11 DIVISION 4
DESPITE going 2-0 down in their match against Croft, Northern Lights ran out 8-4 winners.
Lights scored through Imran Hanif (2), Amuyla Gurung, Connor Robb (3), Tyler Simmons and Marley Richards.
UNDER 12 DIVISION 1
HARRY Timbrell’s early strike set Croft Juniors Red on their way to a 5-0 victory over FC Calne.
Liam Bint grabbed Croft’s second, Archie Benge the third and two goals from Hamsa Amaan rounded off the scoring.
Swindon Rangers were 10-2 victors over Liden Community.
Charlie McCuish, Daniel Farley, Reuben Reeve, Jamie Biles, Harvey Coster (3) and Taylor Burt (3) scored the goals for Rangers.
A superb hat-trick from Leon Summers helped spur Ferndale Rodbourne YCFC on to a 5-4 win against Swindon Supermarine L.
A James Davis strike and an own goal completed the scoring for Ferndale.
UNDER 12 DIVISION 2
JAMES White scored Ferndale Rodbourne Youth's only goal of the game in a 9-1 defeat to FC Calne.
UNDER 12 DIVISION 3
FERNDALE Rodbourne Colts notched up their third win in a row, beating Brinkworth Cats Black 9-0.
Josh Haynes fired five with Neo Heath and Dan O'Brien bagging two each.
UNDER 13 DIVISION 2
WROUGHTON continued their unbeaten run with a 8-1 win over Pewsey.
Sam Roberts smashed a hat-trick, Sean Blunsdon got two and there were goals for Riegan Cook, Tyler Fitchett and Jo Marshall.
Wootton Bassett Town Yellow made it three wins on the trot with an 11-1 win at Blunsdon Colts.
Tom Miller scored three times, Charlie Emmerson and Declan Cox twice, while Euan Burke, Jamie Byrom, Lewis Cholod and Luke Weekes also registered.
UNDER 14 DIVISION 1
DESPITE Brinkworth Cats dominating the game, goals from FC Calne's William Baguley and Thomas Johnston made the difference as the hosts won 2-1.
Ryan Collins scored for the Cats by way of a spot-kick.
UNDER 14 DIVISION 2
GREENMEADOW run out 6-1 winners at Cirencester, thanks mainly to Kye Shiell’s hat-trick.
Aidan Harper, Alex Gregory and Callum Lewington also contributed to Greenmeadow’s victory with goals of their own.
Ferndale Rodbourne beat Pewsey Vale 2-1.
Both teams started well, with Ferndale edging the chances in front of goal although the score line remained goalless at the interval.
After the break, Aaron Aryee opened the scoring for Ferndale from 20 yards before Kieran Cozens doubled the hosts’ advantage.
Pewsey pulled a goal back before minutes before the end but Ferndale held on.
UNDER 14 DIVISION 3
HIGHWORTH Town Juniors T recorded an impressive 4-1 away win at Wanborough Juniors.
George Willis (2) and Ollie Mulraney scored from open play and Jamie Paterson added a penalty late on.
UNDER 15 DIVISION 2
SAM Davies posted a hat-trick to help Blunsdon to a 7-2 win at Wanborough Juniors.
Jack Ahrens, Tom Howe (2) and Tristan Griffiths-Dyer also found the net for Blunsdon.
UNDER 16 DIVISION 2
CROFT Juniors came from behind to win 3-1 at Stratton Youth.
Jacob Wiltshire equalised before Jordan Jackson and Josh Ayres made the points safe.
UNDER 15 LEAGUE CUP
SWINDON Supermarine progressed to the next round of the cup following their 3-0 win against South Cerney.
Marine’s goalscorers were Alex Cook, Callum Cook and Oliver Frost.
Three late goals sealed Purton's 5-4 win in a hard fought cup tie against Brinkworth Cats.
Goals from Danny Wykes and Hugo Vivash levelled the scores at 3-3 at half time before two Purton goals pulled them ahead early in the second half.
Levi Kuenen reduced the deficit but Cats were unable to get another equaliser.
