SWINDON vocalist Jahmene Douglas has said he feels like he is in a bubble as he prepares for the first X Factor live show.
The 21-year-old Asda worker, had his life flipped upside down this week after mentor Nicole Scherzinger put him through to her final three.
He is now busy preparing for the show and said his faith is helping him to keep his feet on the ground.
“It feels like a bubble at the moment it is the only way I can describe it,” said the former New College student.
“Usually you are looking from out wards in on something like this but now I am in it looking out.
“My faith and my mum especially has brought me up with respectful values which helps me keep my feet grounded.
“I do miss being home and my family but because singing is something I need to do I am doing this.”
The young singer has been getting spotted in the streets by fans and his Twitter and Facebook accounts have exploded since his first appearance back in August.
“Every second, or every minute, there is a new follower or tweet and I try to reply to them all but it is so hard.
“The support has been amazing. You dream of these things and I am just trying to take it all in.”
