Take chance to get crafty for Christmas in Swindon (From This Is Wiltshire)

TIME is running out to book a place on a course starting on Tuesday, October 16 which aims to get you geared up for Christmas.

Creative Crafts For Christmas gives you the chance to make some very personal items for gifts or decorations for the festive season.

With the help of an inspiring tutor you can choose from a variety of simple and attractive Christmas-themed projects, or bring your own. Some materials will be provided, but please bring your own if you can for yourself or to share – old or new fabrics/textiles, ribbons, lace, threads and buttons plus sewing materials, glue, card and embellishments of all kinds.

The course is run by the WEA, and runs for five weeks at Rodbourne Methodist Church. Sessions take place every Tuesday between 10am and noon and costs £44 but is free for those on many means-tested benefits. For more details, or to request a booking form, call Jill on 07825 450352.
