A job Fair in Warminster this week helped over 200 young people from the area with information and advice on polishing up their job application skills.
Organised by Enterprise Warminster, a town council partnership with local businesses, the fair on Tuesday included CV-writing and interview workshops.
Local businesses were able to advise aspiring applicants on the skills they are looking for, alongside representatives from Wiltshire Council, Wiltshire College and Job Centre Plus.
The organisers are now planning to set up a regular weekly Job Club, at Warminster Library, similar to one recently set up at Crosspoint in Westbury, to provide more regular assistance.
Warminster Town Council has also agreed to fund 10 six-week work placements with local employers, while Warminster Community Radio is to broadcast local vacancies on Saturdays.
