Blaze causes rush hour chaos in Chippenham Blaze causes rush hour chaos in Chippenham

Rush hour traffic is in Chippenham is at a standstill this evening after a fire at the empty Hygrade factory in the town.

Two fire crews from Chippenham and one from Corsham are currently tackling the blaze on the first floor of the building with no injuries reported.

It is thought the blaze may have been started deliberately.

Anyone with information can call Wiltshire Police on 101.

with so many empty factories all over the county i am suprised there is not more fires in them,like the old Peter Blacks surely it would make more sense to demolish these factories and remove the rublle, it would also be a much nicer view than those we have now, of delapitated buildings which look a complete mess and are eyesores.
