The first wedding at the new and improved council offices in Snuff Street, Devizes, took place this week.
Daniel and Sarah Blundell were married in the ceremony room at the registration office, 2pm yesterday.
Allison Bucknell, portfolio holder for customer services, was there to congratulate the couple and present them with a bottle of bubbly.
She said: “The new ceremony room is lovely and all the staff are excited and enthusiastic about working here.
“Having the first wedding here will be a real talking point for the family in years to come, we wish them all the very best for the future.”
