A new early years outdoor classroom was officially opened this week at Malmesbury CofE Primary School.
The outdoor classroom shows off the vision of the school’s foundation stage leader Sarah Driver, who worked with Wiltshire company Different by Design.
Mrs Driver said: “We are delighted with our amazing new outdoor learning environments. It gives our youngest children opportunities to learn outdoors all year round, whatever the weather. “We thank the Friends of Malmesbury Primary School for their support of this project and our Foundation Stage parents who have been so appreciative.”
Reading volunteer Helen Baker and Foundation Stage pupil Jude Tilley cut a ribbon on Monday to open the classroom.
Miss Baker is the oldest member of the school’s community and Jude is its youngest pupil.
