A SWINDON actress will be aiming to dupe contestants on the Channel 4 show Big Brother.

Thaila Zucchi will be planted in the Big Brother house by producers tomorrow as part of the show's upcoming Fake Week.

The 26-year-old appeared live on the show last night following the eviction of housemate Laura Williams.

After the eviction, housemates were shown footage of a newcomer, Pauline, and were led to believe that she was up for eviction in the Australian version of Big Brother.

However, host Davina McCall told viewers that the new housemate was not in fact a 26-year-old waitress from Australia.

When housemates believed they saw Pauline speaking from a diary room in Australia, she was actually on their doorstep in a "fake" room at the studio.

"Oh my God, I love England," Thaila, in character as Pauline, exclaimed when she was told she would be transferred to the London version of the show. "Oh, it's summer out there!" she added.

Thaila recently appeared on Channel 4 show Balls of Steel and was a member of the band allSTARS, who had four Top 20 singles between 2001 and 2002.

The band also had their own television show STARStreet on CITV.
