Councillors back CCTV plan

COUNCILLORS expressed sadness as they considered a planning application to put up CCTV cameras around a church in Warminster.

The application was for the front and rear of the Christian Science Church in Five Ash Walk.

Warminster Town Council's planning committee approved the plans last week.

Cllr Martin Baker, chair of the committee, said: "It is a sad reflection of our times that we have to start putting CCTV on churches to prevent vandalism or to dissuade it."

I sincerely hope you catch some of them.
Anything to get the little darlings closer to god the better.
