Chippenham company Westinghouse Rail Systems has been awarded a prestigious new contract to carry out resignalling works at a major development in White City, west London.

The London Underground Central Line runs through the site and White City sidings so a new set of sidings will be built in a subterranean concrete box through which trackside signalling equipment will be passed.
A new signalling equipment room will also be built next to the sidings to house the new Westrace equipment The contract will last until the construction is complete in 2008.
